Today I want to talk to you about the importance of veganism in our lives (its influence in our body and in the world).
Veganism is the practice that rejects the use and consumption of all products of animal origin. Whoever practices veganism is called vegan or vegan. The term "veganism" was coined in 1944 by Donald Watson, with the aim of defining vegetarianism that excludes all food derived from animals for ethical reasons distinguishing it from the vegetarianism that allows those foods as long as they do not imply sacrifice.
Being vegan helps your body significantly, helping to prevent the entry of toxins harmful to the body. But the stop of consuming animal products produces a deficiency of vitamin B12, so you must consume vegetables every day and make sport at least 3 times a week.
If we talk about how this practice helps the world, a study by the Spanish NGO Animal Equality explains that vegetarian food would reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 63%, while a vegan diet would reduce pollution by up to 70%.
